Elbow

The elbow joint functions as a hinge, connecting the humerus in the upper arm to the radius and ulna in the forearm. It primarily allows for two main movements: flexion (bending) and extension (straightening) of the arm. Due to its frequent use in daily activities and repetitive motions, the elbow is prone to overuse injuries. Two of the most common conditions are Tennis Elbow (lateral epicondylitis) and Golfer’s Elbow (medial epicondylitis), both of which involve inflammation of the tendons around the elbow joint.
