RUNNING ASSESSMENT

RUNNING ASSESSMENT

A running analysis and an intensive conditioning program are essential if you are just starting to run or if you have been running for some time but intend to increase your training intensity, frequency, or duration. One’s speed and efficiency will both increase after conducting a running analysis. This will not only lessen the likelihood of experiencing pain or harm, but it will also help prevent such things from happening. Naturally, if you’re already experiencing pain while running, making adjustments to your running form might alter the stress placed on delicate soft tissue structures and alleviate discomfort.

Runners can come to us for help with any kind of injury, and we treat anything from ankle sprains and calf muscle strains to hamstring tears and knee sprains to lower back discomfort and even midback pain. If you are a leisure or competitive runner who is interested in maximizing your performance and minimizing the risk of injury, we can provide you with a biomechanical running examination. If you visit our running analysis clinic, a physiotherapist will observe and record your running gait on a treadmill using cutting-edge motion analysis software. You will also be tested on your muscular and pliability capacities. We will also talk about what you want to accomplish.

To help you reach your goals, our best physiotherapist will make you a running program and teach you specific drills, stretches, and strengthening exercises.

Running technique will be reevaluated in a second 1-hour follow-up session in two to three weeks.
